Berend gets promotion at InterBank from Glen Rose


GLEN ROSE – In just eight short years, Tryce Berend’s career with InterBank in Glen Rose has come full circle.

Since joining the bank as an intern in August 2013 during his final year at Tarleton State in Stephenville, Berend has gone from intern to vice president of loans, and in June he was named vice president. Principal / President of Community Bank – Glen Rose.

“I am very excited about this next step in my career. I look forward to using this promotion to continue helping the Glen Rose community. Since starting my internship at Interbank in 2013, it’s something I’ve been working on, ”he said.

“I have been able to grow with the city and see personal and marketable growth for the future and I can provide stability to my current clients and use the knowledge I have learned about Glen Rose over the past eight years with future ones. clients. “

During his eight-month internship at InterBank nearly ten years ago, he did everything from cashier to personal banker; credit administrator; commercial real estate loans, and more, and it all proved to be beneficial as he worked his way up the corporate ladder.

“My day-to-day responsibilities don’t change much, but it gives me a higher platform within InterBank,” he said. “I will continue to do what I did as Glen Rose’s interbank lender. Recently, I hired additional loan support so that I can help increase my reach and knowledge within the community.

Berend said the market has continued to grow with all of the people moving to Glen Rose over the past few years, and he said he has the staff in place to meet the needs of their existing and new clients.

Berend graduated from Windhorst High School in 2010, and received his bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics with a major in agribusiness management and a minor in commerce at Tarleton State. His wife, Katie McAnally Berend, graduated in 2010 from Glen Rose High School.
