Broken Peace: The Pieces of My Heart, a new book by Chinelle Carrington, has been published by RoseDog Books.

Recognizing and sharing an emotional and / or mental breakdown is still considered taboo by many in our society; however, it is essential to begin the healing process. Author Chinelle MK Carrington believes that we need to heal our wounds by seeking healing and treatment, just as we would a broken arm. She shares over eighty poems and quotes reflecting her own breakup over the course of two decades of her life through many relationships from her original family, crushes in high school, college dating, marriage, divorce. and celibacy.

Everything seems to be the opposite
The way I think about things and
My feelings on things
They just go their own way
Without consideration for a broken heart
What should I do? About me? About you?
Does love make me a fool?
Or am I a fool in love with you?

As she is on her way to find true love and embrace the love of God, Chinelle grows in faith, hope and love as a Christian woman. God carried her through the seas of broken peace, broken hearts and chaotic times in her life. She knows he can do the same for you!
