UTICA – The Oneida County History Center is asking the public for nominations for the 2022 Hall of Fame Historical and Living Legends Awards.
This campaign strives to honor outstanding community members, past and present, for their service as leaders, pioneers and advocates, and for their efforts to promote the region’s industries, culture and educational opportunities. , says the ad.
Inductees are honored at an annual awards ceremony held each fall and through a permanent display in the History Center’s Exhibit Gallery.
Past inductees have achieved notoriety that brings honor to our community, have made substantial contributions that have enhanced the quality of life in Oneida County, or strengthened the cultural value and social fabric of the region. To apply, please submit an application form and include a brief biography of the individual outlining their accomplishments and contributions to Oneida County and the Mohawk Valley. Nominations must be received in writing by Tuesday, June 28 to be considered for this year.
