Warangal: Professor K Ashoka Reddy, Principal of Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science, Warangal (KITSW), believed that implementation of National Education Policy (NEP)-2020 would help India to become the technology and knowledge center of the world at the earliest. The college organized a seminar on Saturday on “the first perspectives on the national policy of education-2020”.
Speaking on the occasion, Reddy said that after 34 years a new education policy had been introduced by the central government. “The curriculum prepared following the NEP 2020 is the key pillar for the success of any educational institution. The policy is a comprehensive framework for elementary to tertiary education as well as vocational training, and it aims to transform the Indian education system,” he added. College Secretary and Correspondent V Lakshmikantha Rao urged all participating faculty to hone their skills to meet the requirements of the new NEP. College faculty members attended the seminar.
