Montclair State University, one of America’s most haunted schools

Fortunately, school is over for the summer because a college in New Jersey is said to be one of the most haunted universities in America.

For years there have been reports of slamming doors and windows, lights turning on and off, constant cold, and even a ghost hovering over the beds of tenants at State University of Montclair.

Montclair is believed to be built on top of a Native American cemetery and former students say it is a very spooky school. So scary that many refuse to go to the woods after the sun goes down. There have been numerous reports of figures believed to be Native Americans spotted in the forests.

According to Courses and careers, the worst stories come from the Clove Road apartments.

Tenants have reported electrical appliances turning on and off on their own, and lights on the second floor turning on and off on their own.

Paranormal Experience # 2

Unusual knocks on the bedroom and bathroom doors.

Paranormal Experience # 3

“Supernatural” noises emanating from the woods behind the apartments.

The tenants also said they were overwhelmed with a “disturbing feeling or nausea” whenever they discussed the strange phenomena in their apartments. Their apartments would be cold even if the thermostat was set to 80 degrees (ie cold spots). Cold spots equal the dead.

A tenant said she woke up one night to find a man in a 19th-century costume standing above her bed, looking lovingly at her. Thinking it was her roommate’s boyfriend mistaking her for his girlfriend, she told him he was on the wrong bed. The man suddenly vanished into thin air.

It’s a little scary. WHERE DID THEY GO? Here are 50 of your favorite chain stores that no longer exist.
