BACK TO LONDON TOWN FESTIVAL 2022 – 24th LONDON FESTIVAL OF IRISH TRADITIONAL MUSIC, SONG AND DANCE

Brogan McAuliffe’s parents are from Killarney, County Kerry. She was raised in a family of musicians and learned the tin flute from her mother, Fidelma. At the age of 10 Brogan took up the accordion under the tutelage of Maureen Linane.

Brogan holds 4 All Ireland titles and played as a band member with ‘The London Lasses’ for 10 years. She has performed in world-class venues including the Royal Albert Hall, Barbican Center and Trafalgar Square. Brogan also performed with the National Folk Orchestra of Ireland, making his debut in Michael Rooney’s ‘Macalla 1916′ suite during an Irish tour and a major concert at the Barbican Center in London. Brogan enjoyed visiting Ireland and Britain as part of Comhaltas’ latest tour.

She is an active member of London’s thriving music scene and enjoys teaching both whistle and accordion in London and at various workshops and festivals across Ireland.
