Samoon visits Polytechnic College, ITI Budgam; Reviews development work – India Education | Latest Education News | World Education News

BUDGAM: Principal Secretary of the Skills Development Department (SDD), Asgar Hassan Samoon, today visited Government Polytechnic College Budgam and ITI Chrar-i-Shrief.

During his visit to the Polytechnic, he was informed about the functioning of the Institution by the Principal Polytechnic College, Altaf Hussain Shalla.

Dr. Samoon reviewed the status of development running in the college under Capex. He interacted with students and teaching staff from both institutions.

The college students presented the request for accommodation and transportation facility in front of the principal secretary.

The principal secretary, on the spot, ordered the principal polytechnic to prepare the DPR for the hostel.

At ITI Chrar-i-Sharif, Superintendent of ITI, Bashir Ahmad Beigh briefed the Principal Secretary on the functioning of the institution.

Responding to the request of the students, the principal secretary asked the superintendent to prepare the DPR for the hostel of ITI Chrar-i-Shrief. He assured that work on the two-storey workshop block will start soon for which DPR is submitted. He said work on this will be resumed in the next fiscal year.
