Taking center stage with Grant Webster | News, Sports, Jobs

Grant Webster enjoyed the opportunities that came his way while attending St. Edmond Catholic Schools.

Webster, a senior, has been heavily involved for the past four years, participating in concert choir, show choir, chamber choir, musical, soccer, athletics and wrestling.

“It’s an equal opportunity for everyone to get involved in St. Edmond,” said Webster. “That’s why it’s important to me. It’s also fun to grow as a class considering it’s so small.

Webster was part of the St. Edmond Choir that reached the final this year in a competition, a moment he will cherish for the rest of his life.

“I just want to be remembered as a complete athlete,” Webster said, “and performer.”

He credits his loved ones with the greatest inspiration for his accomplishments and successes.

“It comes from the support of my teachers, family and friends,” said Webster.

Webster plans to attend Iowa Central for pre-engineering in the fall. His goal is to work for NASA after finishing college.
